Hello! We’re Margaret and Alex, the creative duo behind Loverly.

Our journey began over ten years ago at Indiana University, and after meeting and falling in love, we recently tied the knot ourselves. We’re also proud parents to our daughter, Iris, who’s almost two and fills our lives with joy and inspiration.

Margaret has always had a passion for creativity, with a background in photography and experience as a birth doula. She also runs an Etsy shop, crafting bespoke items and charming banners for children’s birthday parties. Alex is a skilled woodworker, bringing his craftsmanship to the business and helping create custom, one-of-a-kind elements.

After our own wedding, we noticed a gap in the Indianapolis event scene for vintage, whimsical, and nostalgic touches. We wanted to offer cozy, memorable experiences that reflect our love for all things with character and charm.
